Buckets of Flowers

from $120.00

LOCALLY GROWN FLOWERS

Available May 29th - September 6th 2025

For the creative or budget-conscious couple, buckets of blooms freshly harvested from our Vermont flower farm are just the thing! Reserve the quantity you need and we’ll freshly pick & pack your bulk flowers order for pick-up 1 to 3 days prior to your event.

Each 2.5 gallon bucket contains approx. 80-100 stems of flowers, foliage, and botanical accents to make approx. 8-10 Mason jar style arrangements or up to 3 bouquets. The number of buckets you need will depend on the size and complexity of your design. We recommend enlisting the help of 3-5 people for 4-6 hours the day before your event.

COLOR OPTIONS:

Color Choice - Tell us your preferred colors. We’ll do our best to match your preferences! Can be specific like “pink, white, and yellow” or “warm tones”, “bright colors”, etc. Note we cannot match overly specific requests like “pale blush, sage green, and light buttercream”

Seasonal Color Mix - With this fun & economical option our farmer-florists will choose the best of what’s in bloom for your event in a mix of colors.

When should I place my order?

We recommend ordering your flowers as soon as your plans allow, and will accept orders up to 12 months in advance. Because we can accommodate only a limited number of events per weekend, some dates will sell out.

Where do I pick up my order?

Pick up your flowers from our farm in Brookline, VT (~20 mins. from Brattleboro, Stratton, Mt. Snow) 1 to 3 days prior to your event. Please let us know the approximate time you’d like to pick up when placing your order (you can change this as your plans firm up). We’ll email driving directions and pick up instructions.

How do I care for my flowers?

Once you’ve arrived at your destination, you may need to add some cool water to each bucket (we keep them minimally full to minimize splashes during transport). Store flowers in a relatively cool, dark place. A basement, garage, or air-conditioned room are great choices during the summer. A walk-in cooler is great, but not essential. Bottom line: You want to keep them as cool as possible and out of direct sunlight.

When designing your arrangements, give each stem a fresh cut before placing it into the vase. Remove any foliage that will fall below the water line. You can purchase packets of floral preservative if desired, but for an event like a wedding where they only need to last a few days, this isn’t usually necessary.
